Deep Learning and the OCSB 

The OCSB Deep Learning Framework is an overarching goal to highlights the authentic exploration of student voice, inclusion and agency—for all students.  

The 6 Global Competencies (the 6 C's) draw attention to this and give applicable language for its exploration. Our goal in the OCSB is the weave "the 6 C's" through the four elements and our "Strategic Commitments" (Be Well, Be Community, Be Innovative) to create a safe and innovative places to learn.

The "Four Elements" are the learning conditions that allow the Global Competencies to flourish. They are: Pedagogical Practices; Learning Partnerships; Learning Environments; and Leveraging Digital.
